Blog Tember-Challenge // September 3rd

Hi! So, today challenge will be writing about what i want to be when i grow up. :) Let's turn back time to where i was during when i was superbly small. :D

You're right! That's me! (giggles)
Whoops, not that small. Hmm fast forward to about when i was about 8 years old, i was so determined that i will be a teacher. By that, i mean coming home from school, clean up and do my homework, then pretend to teach a bunch of imaginary students i had, while using my aunt's master bedroom wall as a whiteboard. YEAP! You heard me right over there. (Giggles) I know i shouldn't be laughing or something but to think back again now, it was super umm super naughty of me. I hope they had a picture of that wall so i can show you what i write for my imaginary students. Honestly, my aunt babysit me since pre-school and she is like another mom to me whom i never stop loving. :)

So, slowly when i went to high school i realized that was just something i wanted to be because i had no clue of what to write in the essay 'What is my ambition' and teacher will be perfect as i do know exactly what they do after facing them from years. I did faced the doctor almost everyday when i was born but i was too young to understand. That was the reason why i chose teacher. I had no clue at all what i wanted to be and i thought choosing an ambition will be like changing clothes. You change and there, you look perfect.

Then, here comes the decision making of university life. Honestly, i cried so much while making the decision because i got lectured by my mom and i was so afraid i am going to regret my decision. I haven't discover my life enough yet to know what i love doing. My mom made the decision for me to do business since my other siblings did the same. From months of decisions making, i decided to just follow them and thought it was not bad.

Today, i am 21 years old, in my final year degree in International Business. Will you judged me if i say I actually am struggling and i just can't wait to finish it because i totally have no interest for this course at all. Now i realized how important one decision can sometimes change your life. Well, since this is my space and i am here writing not for any other people but myself, i am just going to write what ive discovered about myself this whole university life so far and share with my readers. :)

When i started my foundation, i often travel back home by flight and in one of those flights i took, i just don't know how air stewardess just came into my brain. Like i kept wishing to be in their position because i was one of those customers that smile back to them even though i am super grumpy. Then i realized i love it because i enjoy looking at how people smile back at what you had done for them and also travelling. Let's close the travelling part first. I straight away searched about it on the internet about the job on tiger air. One of my dream airplane company. Also, asked around to get more information. To my disappointment, quite a lot of them disagree with my dream idea because according to them( Nope, they are not air stewardess) it is tough enough serving people on land, what more in the air.

For long enough i kept this little dream of mine to myself because i don't want any other people to crash it for me. One other problems i am facing is my height and i am trying to hard to fight through that. (Yes that is how bad i really want to be an air stewardess). Last two years, my sister's friend got into the airlines as air stewardess i jumped in excitement (as if i was the one got it). I don't know i just feel like if i were to tell her, she will definitely support me too because she went for it and is in the same way as i want to head. From that day onward, i was super determine that right after my graduation i am signing up for it no matter how hard it will be or how much it takes to get in because the saying goes 'You're a failure not because you are, but because you gave up on continue trying for what you want'. So, today my 1st dream will definitely be an air stewardess.

Guess what my 2nd dream will be? A wedding/ event planner! If you've read about what makes me happy, number 10, i wrote it all there about why marriage makes me happy. You can check it out. And the reason that got me consider into this kinda job line is because..

I went for my internship and everyone knows not all internship companies let you do what you actually learnt in university because we are somehow a cheap slave or in a nicer word, labor to them. I was given PR & Marketing as my internship department. I did paperwork, i helped in managing events, handling customers and etc. I realized i went to work everyday looking forward to manage an event because after all the hard work you put in, those feelings of success you get are satisfying. To support that, i also had a few events in campus which i pretty much enjoy planning. :) This, wedding/event planner will definitely be my 2nd dream job. :)

Don't remind me about what i am studying for my degree and don't judge. ;) Thanks for reading this long post. :* Have a great day!

Signing off,
Jan
