Goood morning! Its 2.38am and im definitely not asleep yet because i promise myself to update my blog everyday. Im glad enough i still manage to pull through all this and hopefully i make it last! Anyway, today was a little portion of sadness but its okay, i never let my dreams shattered and i tell myself to smile again because i've gotta get up and try and try again till i succeed.
Me, Jolyn, Ee Ling and Aloy planned to just hang out together before i go for my intern and Ee Ling graduate. They are all like a family to me because as no onw is there to hold me they were the ones i run to. They have been always there and im glad they never walked away. So happy and glad for their presence although we quareled sometimes.
Above are the pictures of the restaurant. The wall is surrounded by arts and drawings. Actually i think its linked to another cafe called 'calanthe art cafe'. The price is affordable and the amount of food is just nice for each person. I can't really remember the name of the food but here are the pictures of food i took. Prices for the food we ate are below 20 ringgit malaysia.
After dinner, we definitely have to take picture as it is really hard for us to gather like that anymore as Ee Ling will be graduating soon. So here, is our family potrait! :)
Dinner is never complete withour desserts and so, we head over to 'big bowl' for some ice. I wouldnt say it satisfies me but if you would like to get a cheap dessert place, i recommend you this. It is located along the shoplots row that is same with Capitol. Its mostly below 5 ringgit malaysia for a bowl. They have a super huge bowl of ice but it is usually shared with loads of people.
Next, we went to Portugese Settlement and decided to try this helium lantern. Ive always wanted to try though. It was on sale 6 for 10 ringgit malaysia so we bought it all. The first one failed so we tried again. Happy that it succeeded! It flew!
Here, the one i chose, purple and im so happy because when i opened it, it was written 'travel girl' which i feel like it defines me. I wrote all my hope but sadly, it hit the pole nearby and sank. :( i was pretty sad but i cant let one thing decide my dream right? So i think, i should smile and just keep trying. I should work hard instead, for my dreams to come true. Don't loose hope! :) 💪
My day began with a good lunch and then to the moot court watching this friend of mine do her mock trial. To those who do not know what is mock trial, it is a so called court drama scene performed by the final year students where they make it exactly like the real court session. It was my first time watching, fun but as time goes i started to get bored.
Here she is at the witness stand. It was so real that the even have someone dress up as a police. The witness actor and actress were really good. :)
We had dinner at this place called 'nubacha' suggested by Ee Ling. Its a western restaurant and ill come back for sure. The food and atmosphere that i rated it as 7/10. They even have this bottle of wine on every table. Its up to us if we would like to have it or not but with the condition of paying it first. :)
