Be it physical, verbal or emotional, there’s #NoExcuseForAbuse click here to support
Women's Aid Organisation is launching the #NoExcuseForAbuse public education campaign in conjunction with International Women's Day on 8 March 2014 to raise awareness on domestic violence. Many women who face domestic abuse find it hard to walk away. They may not even realise the abuse and continue to justify it without knowing. The #NoExcuseForAbuse campaign aims to target the earlier phase of domestic abuse before it snowballs.
Be it physical, verbal or emotional, there’s #NoExcuseForAbuse
Members of the public are invited to view the installation art exhibition portraying the ‘voices’ of victim survivors. The exhibition will highlight the thoughts that survivors had told to themselves while they endured abuse. We are inviting all to make a firm stand that there is no excuse for abuse.
