I began to ponder. A year (if successfull) is never too long and never too short to plan. I guess i should already start planning on the journey ahead? Not exactly of where i would like to settle down but more on do i really want to settle down with the degree i will be graduating with?
I had lunch with dad and his friend which i think he is an interesting man, for me. Reason being because unlike any other friends of my parent's, this is the only one who actually asked the following question
1. What are you studying?
2. What is it actually about?
3. Do you have any future planning?
4. Have any plans of opening a cafes or own things?
Then he went on by giving me a few advise based on what is happening in the world and the generations he dealt with in his workplace. He got me to start pondering on the journey im actually walking in. Tbh, after a year and the half in the university, i began to realize that business isnt really my thing at all but i couldnt give up on it just like that because my parents work hard to make sure i get to further my studies in a private u. I therefore, promised myself to at least finish up this degree then decide to pursue on what i love to do.
I think i mentioned it several times that i realized what are my interest. I definitely envy those who get to figure out their passion since young and successfully pursue it when they grow up. One thing, i never regret my decision to insist on continuing because to me, as long as it is a new knowledge, it is never a waste of time. Of course, i have seen so many people my age which already manage to earn money themselves and i am still fully dependent on my parents but i never lose hope. Never let it to even get closer to giving up.
My dad's friend told me 'whatever you are going to do, just make sure you love it.' Then he went on 'try to be your own boss, definitely there is risk and challenges but the outcomes definitely gives us satisfaction. If you work for people, you only work to help them pursue their happiness instead.' That hit me somehow and that is where it got me thinking. He asked 'why dont you plan to open your own office or something?' and i could only reply 'if i had the capital to, i definitely would love to.' Which is true in every way because you either get capital straight from your parents, or sponsors OR you have to work your ass off with others to get the capital.
One of my friend started working for MAS. Same as me, we both just love trying out for air stewardess. I know how tiring it is but doing what we love definitely will be worth it. ☺️ I definitely can't wait to graduate and try out for new things that i don't have the time to! Now, i am trying to look for part time job, like work from home job or trying my best to earn side incomes from anywhere else that is convenient for me (because i don't have a car). If you happened to know any, do inform me please. :D
